Description of Top Floor Restaurant
Part of that multi-faceted clubbers favourite, Turnmills, the Top Floor restaurant is a decadent, stand-out-from-the-crowd restaurant paying tribute to the Baroque period (1600 - 1750, just so you know). Swathes of velvet and mirrors galore provide a deliciously decadent environment in which to sit and savour imaginative dishes from the mind of Oskar Reboredo. Try baby artichokes with black truffles (starter), or the rather special foie gras of - with duck eggs and port sauce (main). Served with a smile, each dish is arguably a work of art it itself. A sweet tooth, meanwhile, cannot fail to be sublimely sated by cinnamon ice cream, almond and chocolate crocanti and lemon sorbet covered in a Catalonian-style custard. Go on, rise to the occasion at Top Floor. You'll be glad you did. They also have live music Monday to Thursday nights.
Additional information for Top Floor Restaurant
Part of, as we said, the tardis-like Turnmills, the Top Floor's group options go above and beyond part or exclusive hire of the restaurant, which seats 45. If you're looking for a truly versatile venue to suit groups of up to a 1000, then check out the sci-fi club itself. With four bars and two VIP bars and restaurants, four dance floors, four sounds systems and a 24-hour music and entertainment licence, you could argue that you're spoilt for choice. All sorts of menus are available, while 20 wines are sold by the glass and, like the cocktails, are sold two for one between 4 and 6.30pm.
