Description of Toresano
Ideally located on St. John's popular Boundary Road, Toresano is a must try for an authentic Spanish dining experience. Known for bringing a taste of home to Spanish ex-pats abroad, this bewitching restaurant offers an amazing array of tapas, perfect paella, and extraodinary entrees. Toresano's flavoursome Steak Antonio and rack of lamb are the stuff that seasoned carnivores thought they could dream of. For those with a sweet tooth, you'll find their Tarta di Santiago, an almond tart, simply divine - but you might be hard pressed to find it served anywhere else outside of Spain. This food is the real deal. A perfect locale for a romantic dinner or special lunch, Toresano brings bona fide Spanish charm to Northwest London.

one of those nice little restaurants hidden away in London - nice environment for a romantic dinner or a place to have some authentic Spanish food.

Toresano was a lovely venue for a relaxed evening with friends. The service was welcoming and attentive, the food was very good and the wine superb! We live in Hertfordshire and our friends in central London so St Johns Wood made a good location to meet up, there was easy parking and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Toresano is a hidden gem. You walk in to a friendly greeting and feel immediately at home. The tapas are delicious and priced well. There are several choices of wines in various price brackets, and even the lesser expensive ones are tasty. The meal ends with a small glass of liquor (anise flavour). Really enjoyed the entire evening!

We were very disappointed with Toresano. The tapas dishes were not very good, and more expensive than they should have been.

Toresano is a true find! The service is outstanding and the food is so fresh. Highly recommend the fillet with foie gras and sea bass in shrimp sauce. Chocolate cake to finish was the perfect ending to a lovely meal. True neighborhood spot - can't wait to return!

Toresano is an amazing authentic spanish restaurant. First, the restaurant is lovely, little candles everywhere and a nice music make you feel really comfy. We received a very friendly welcome and the service during the rest of the evening was really good. The card offers the traditional paella and tapas but also delicate spanish dishes. I would highly recommend the Brocheta of scallops, chorizo and artichoke heart and the grilled steak but overall I would simply recommend anyone to go there!

Dined at Toresano on a Sat. evening, fabulous tapas! We had 2 rounds of tapas as they were so good. Rioja red was great too. The only thing was that it was quite cool with a draft so i felt cold the entrie evening. Suggest sitting in the back room if you don't like being cold. Highly recommeded restaurant

Toresano is a lovely restaurant with delicious traditional Spanish fare, a very affordable wine list, excellent service and a warm atmosphere. I'll definitely make this a regular.

A family place, warmly but professionally run. Tapas can often be a bit heavy, gloopy or oily, but this was just fresh and tasty.

The paella was pretty good but the highlights were the Iberian ham and aborigine tapas dishes.

Will definitely go again, perhaps for lunch.

We took a couple of friends with us to Toresano mainly due to the positive reviews the restaurant received this year. The food was really good, especially the paella, though the rest (service, ambiance, lavatory etc) were very average. Go, but without expectations.

Really enjoyed our meal at Toresano. The staff were attentive but paced the meal nicely, food was delicious and very reasonably priced and very impressed with the spanish wine. A great neighbourhood restaurant that ticked all the right boxes. Definitely returning.

New to the neighborhood and just finished a show at Hampstead so walked over for some late night tapas. The tapas were ALL great. Normally the Tortilla is my favorite but this time it was the octopus and estofado to name a few that were tasty.

The owner, true spaniard, was friendly and service was good. If i'm back in the neighborhood, I would come back.
