Description of Yi-Ban - Chelsea
Like its popular sister restaurant in London's Docklands, Yi-Ban Chelsea is an airy, well-designed Chinese eaterie that stands up to its name: Yi-Ban translates as 'first class.' Modern design marries elegantly with traditional Chinese cuisine to create a genuine experience. Unlike the Docklands' extensive menu, the menu here lists 25+ dishes, making it easier for you to choose. Sharing is encouraged, which is why waiters suggest you to eat up as soon as a dish arrives fresh at your table. Rather than arriving at the same time, dishes are served as soon as they're ready from either the grill or the main kitchen. Best sellers include a fillet beef with Merlot sauce starter, and a main of whole lobster on a bed of crispy noodles. Professional service.

Additional information for Yi-Ban - Chelsea
Yi-Ban Chelsea can be hired for groups of up to 80, though there's room for a further 20 to eat outside on the terrace. If you don't want to opt for exclusive hire, then up to 60 guests can eat together with other diners there. A la carte, reduced a la carte, set and drinks menus are served. All menus are designed for sharing, whether your reason for being here is a stag party, a business lunch, or a family get-together. Vegetarians are well catered for. The big in-house bar with its marvellous cocktail list and comfy seating is suitable for drinks before and/or after your meal. Cocktails start at £6; house wine at £13.50 a bottle. Children welcome. Closed Sundays.

Yi-Ban - Chelsea Reviews

Once you find Yi-Ban (tucked away in Chelsea Wharf), it's worth it. Delicious dishes esp. sizzling black pepper seafood and monkfish. Friendly service. Our more mature diners struggled to read menus under subdued lighting and the toilets were even darker. I would go back even without the 50% offer.

generally good, but in the point of " Value for Money " YiBan management should consider how to give better satisfaction to the clients than the present level. If it was improved, the restraunt would be first place to recommend

Yi-Ban again delights - charming service, lots of Asian diners also giving it the thumbs up, great cocktails and top notch food. Ideal for anything from a coupley anniversary to a meal with the parents, maybe not a loud pbirthday night out but for most purposes, a stylish and good night out.

The atmosphere was good and we had relax drinks at the bar before dinner. The food was good and everyone enjoyed the dinner.

Yi Ban - excellent Chinese food, more sophistiocated decor and ambience than your normal high street fayre. Probably not the cult status of Royal China in Baker Street, but service is far better and prices with the offer are compelling.

Yi - Ban in Chelsea was a fantastic night, the food was supberb and well worth the price as we also had two bottles of wine. The soft shell crab is a must to try and we will definitely be going back and can recommend as one of the top places we have had chinese.

Yi Ban - Chelsea is a rare find - excellent chinese food with more imagination than most - and the resutaurant is decorated in a very funky style, with just the right level of lighting. Highly recommended.
