Description of Zuccato City
Zuccato City doesn't just want to feed you, it wants to whisk you away to a diferent country and a different era, to relax and refresh you before sending you back - well-nourished - to shoulder your daily life. Walk into the 'lane' level bar and you will find a space inspired by Fellini's La Dolce Vita set in 1950's Milan, then go through to a secluded courtyard or down to the stylish restaurant. As for the food, well wow, bella. Someone at your table absolutely must have a pizza, just because they're so great. But for more substantial fare, try the trad starter of deep-fried squid with rocket and tartare sauce, then follow with risotto with tiger prawns and ceps, then roll on to the great Scotch rib-eye steak with green peppercorn sauce. Then hop onto your Vespa and whisk away.

Zuccato City is a great place for a quick tasty bite.

Zuccato City. Food is great but the restaurant very noisy so much so that even as a party of 4 we couldn't hear each other properly. Makes it tricky to bring a customer here but for friends who dont mind shouting to be heard you do have a great meal.

Lunching at Zuccato city was a pure joy! Although the restaurant was very busy, the staff were extremely calm, very efficient and helpful. Both the food & the ambience were good - although the drinks were a bit on the pricey side. Nevertheless the pan fried veal, a gorgeous chocolate sweet, coffee & 250 mls valpolicella only cost me £35 including tip. Zuccato City is definitely the number one place to eat before my quarterly board meetings in the City.

This was my first visit to Zuccato City in the evening although I'm a regular lunchtime visitor. After reading an earlier review about the bright lighting I wondered if it would feel like eating under floodlights but I needn't have been worried - it wasn't that bad. As always, the food was great and the service friendly and efficient. Overall it was good value for money. A great venue for eating with friends.

We went to Zuccato City for our Christmas lunch (40 of us). They were really attentive, the food was fab- I especially enjoyed the calamari, and Lamb shank. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the only complaint received was- they wanted a bit more veg! The manager and staff were very pleasant, I recommend Zuccato City highly.

Zuccato City is a very solid and fairly well run Italian restaurant. Food is quite good and they have a varied menu that is inventive without pushing the boundaries too far. Slightly expensive for some menu items but generally a wide range for most budgets.

We went to Zuccato having previously been. Didn't rate the food as highly as in the past. I hope that it is only a blip in their cooking!

We went for our team Christmas lunch and although it was busy we were well looked after. Unfortunately, the dishes were much smaller than on previous ocassions and the lamb shank that was ordered by a few of us wasn't very well cooked and didn't have much taste. The tirimisu was divine and made up for the disappointing food.

The place is nice but not excellent. All avarage. Ok for a meal after work.
