Thoroughly enjoyed lunch at the Maze. The service was first class and the food excellent. Our only criticism is that the portions were very small.

The food was simply outstanding, no question about it. The service however was not good. The sommelier barely uttered 4 words to us in the whole evening and provided no comment on the wine I had chosen without her help. The waitress in charge of collecting glasses was overzealous with her clearing of not only our table but all the ones we saw her dealing with and our 2-page menus were two identical pages! The devil is in the detail and for £250 for 2, surely you can expect better than this!

Maze is amazing. The food is phenomenal. We had the taster 7 course menu and because there was two of us both having the same menu and we wanted to try everything, they gave us a mixture of all courses offered so we wouldn't miss anything. The service is just extraordinary and I can't rate it highly enough - it's a slightly more laid back atmosphere than other restaurants of this calibre and that made it much less stuffy than expected and far more fun. I'd go every week if I were rich.

Food was on the whole excellent and the tapas style servings enable you to try a range of dishes and flavours. Our amuse bouche was exquisite and I could have happily just eaten return servings of it for the entire meal. Service was excellent, and the staff really knew the menu inside out, so were able to answer any questions.

Maze was faultless. Very warm welcome. Ambience friendly and relaxed yet elegant. Food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Expensive but worth every penny

Food was excellent at Maze. This is though a tapas type concept and you need quite a few plates to satisfy even an average appetite - which means it can be costly. Good for a treat but you can perhaps find better value for similar quality if you are watching your pennies.

our experience at Maze was a very good one. wonderful service, very nice setting and excuisite presentation. However, the food portions were rather small, smaller than we could expect. This was our only disappointment.

Maze is another one of Gordon Ramsey's winners. A much more relaxed environment, you are requested to try four dishes in a "tapas" style. This means to pretty much get two starters and two main courses all of which were wonderful, The wine list is extensive and overall not even that pricey. I would highly recommend this restaurant, not really a romantic venue but great fun and relaxing too.
