Description of sketch Gallery
The breathtaking sketch has become a magnet for the media, artistic, fashion and style crowd, as well as serious consumers of fine French cuisine. The brainchild of superchef Pierre Gagnaire and Mourad Mazouz, of Momo, the Gallery, is a large buzzing, less formal space on the ground floor. Open to the public throughout the day as a video gallery (with a new programme every six weeks). The gallery is transformed for dinner, although video projections remain throughout the evening on the doubled height walls. The menu features dishes such as the slow cooked loin of cod cep as a velouté, grilled and raw with sautéed baby artichokes or roasted saddle of lamb in a herb crust with chickpea pancakes, pachas beand, tomato marmalade scented with basil and preserved pimentos del piquillos. Organic vegetables show incredible freshness and taste. The emphasis is on natural produce, with seasonal garnishes. And the scene is alive and vibrant, with people drifting in from the bar, enjoying a meal, and continuing their evening in the Gallery which then closes at 2am.

Please note that sketch Gallery only takes bookings up to 1 month in advance. Should you request a booking further in advance to this, your booking confirmation will be delayed.

Cancellation Policy - 24 hours notice is required for cancellations. £30 per person will be charged for late cancellation or no-show of dinner reservations.

Sketch was busy and buzzing; with a fabulous maitre de; however the wait staff lent towards the rude side... food was good but not outstanding (as you might expect for the price and descriptions...) however can't beat the vibe of the place. Awesome place.

sketch Gallery was really something special. The food was good, nicely presented, and the bubble gum dessert was just amazing. The sonnelier totally lost interest when we ordered a rather cheap (£35) wine and did not utter a smile the rest of our visit, but besides that a very worthwhile experience. All the waiters were attentive and service minded. And the toilets and the bar topped it all. But would prefer for a week-end pre-party eat more than a quiet mid-week dinner

My colleague asked me to book somewhere that would impress her 19 year old niece - Sketch sprang to mind! Quirky design, rather fabulous and good food. Only complaint would be lack of vegetarian options - definately a place to impress though if you like somewhere fanku. Not cheap though but the food it good. You must check out the 'pod' toilets!

The ambience, deco and bars were great. Recommend to turn up earlier to have a drink beforehand. Go pass the main dining area for an oval shaped- bar. Its cosy and the cocktails are yummy.
Food was good, some very interesting combination (dessert that taste like salad), table was wipped after every course. Service, err.. felt like we've been hurried to order.
Oh, howcan i not mention the toilets, i wont disclose further you just have to check it out yourselves :)

Excellent meal although my friends lamb dish was a tiny portion. Brilliant atmosphere.

Amazing atmosphere, very modern and fashionable feel.
Trendy people and good food, slightly overpriced.
Toilets, are definitely the highlight of this restaurant - a must see and the bar looked very entertaining and crowded.
A must see trendy london hotspot, probably more on the weekends.

If you want a restaurant with a bit of something about, Sketch is a good choice... just don't expect to walk away without a hefty dent in your wallet. Food was excellent, service was average, but improved somewhat after this significant blunder... my guests arrived and were seated at tables to "wait" for one another, only to find out 20 mins later that actually the whole party had arrived, on time but they were just seated opposite ends of the restaurant! Overall, an enjoyable evening.

I took my wife to sketch Gallery for her birthday and we had a fab evening: the bar is quirky but not near as much as the toilets, the sitting area is pleasantly arranged and does not feel too dense. The food was very unconventional as Gagnaire does. Would heartily recommend to pay a visit.
